Reinforcing content provenance and combatting revenue loss
Offering a vivid practical value for the technology being built around around provenance is a framework for content security and end-to-end integrity leveraging the latest standards from the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA). The workflow offers robust DRM protection of live content in conjunction with the application of C2PA signatures at the CDN origin and edge nodes. This use of C2PA gives a verified “breadcrumb trail” for content distribution inside and outside of a licensed region, enabling content services to identify and address - in real time - the issue of rogue viewing sessions and CDN leeching.
