We always want to promote excellent content that covers the world of video service security. As the current IBC event wraps up, we were looking back on some of the great work we have done with partners and were reminded of a terrific session held by our own David Eisenbacher with Bitmovin’s CEO, Stefan Lederer, and Solutions Architect Paul MacDougall at the Streaming Media East event in New York.
The seminar included an in-depth look at the state of Digital Rights Management, or DRM, and the common use cases, considerations, and workflows. It's really exciting to hear from such industry experts on the full range of options for premium content protection, an in-depth discussion of the latest changes in the DRM landscape, and how the industry’s broad adoption of AES-128 CBC could lead to a simplified and streamlined architecture under the CMAF standard. We have written recently about some of the issues in our own industry FAQ material.
