EZDRM Universal DRM solution uses the Common Encryption (CENC) standard via MPEG-DASH. This is a combination of both Google Widevine DRM and Microsoft PlayReady DRM technologies. Since CENC is DRM agnostic, it allows the same CENC-encrypted content to be decrypted and viewed by multiple devices, HTML5 clients, and connected platforms. EZDRM Universal DRM is the single multi-DRM solution for content delivery, that allows the usage of custom data enabling your business logic to seamlessly integrate into the DRM license issue process.

Native Security

With EZDRM Universal multi-DRM, you get native hardware security, in addition to software-based DRM. Our service provides hardware-security levels in a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE). Hardware and software security combined with output protection levels allow for secure delivery of premium content.

Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (DASH)

DASH enables streaming of high quality media content over the Internet. It leverages standard HTTP protocol and can be easily deployed on existing Internet infrastructure (web servers, CDNs, firewalls, etc).

Common Encryption (CENC)

CENC is an industry standards-based approach to content encryption. It identifies standard encryption and key mapping mechanisms, that may be utilized by one or more DRM systems to allow the decryption of the same file using different DRM systems. CENC enables content providers to encrypt their content once and deliver it to numerous client devices and their assorted DRM schemes.

Encrypted Media Extensions (EME)

EME is a proposed W3C standard that provides a set of common APIs that can be used to interact with DRM systems and manage license key exchange. EME allows content providers to design a single application solution for all devices.
